It is non-irritating to the eyes and skin.In studies with laboratory animals, Imazapyr did not cause reproductive toxicity, teratogenicity, or carcinogenicity.Liver enlargement and elevated cholesterol levels are often noted in laboratory animals that have ingested large doses of Imazapyr during their lifespan.
