The acute oral LD50 for mancozeb was 4,500
mg/kg.The acute dermal (skin) LD50 for mancozeb was greater than
5,000 mg/kg.Mancozeb was mildly irritating to the skin with a
primary irritation score (PIS) of 0.5.Mancozeb caused moderate eye
irritation with a PIS of 2.3.Mancozeb has an acute inhalation to
LC50 of greater than 5.14 mg/L.Mancozeb is used to control
Lophodermium needle cast, Pine gall rust, and Scirrhia brown spot in
conifers and Swiss needle cast in Douglas Fir.
